FROM ROUTE 80 EASTBOUND:
Traveling
80 East get in the right lane before Exit 41 (Rt. 287). Immediately
after Exit 41, there are signs to Whippany/Lake Hiawatha (Exit 45).
Follow signs to that exit. After about 3 miles, there will be signs
again pointing to Whippany/Lake Hiawatha. This is Exit 45 going
to Beverwyck Road. Get off at Exit 45. Make a left at the light
at the end of the ramp (going over Rt. 80). This is Beverwyck Road.
Go through the 1st light (crosses Route 46), the 2nd light (crosses
Vail Rd), the 3rd light(crosses Lake Shore Drive) & the 4th
light (crosses Hiawatha Boulevard). After going through the 4th
light, you will come to a blinking traffic light at a yield sign.
Bear a right at this light onto Knoll Road. Knoll Road ends very
quickly. When Knoll Rd ends, make a right onto River Road. River
Road makes a sharp bend to the left and hits a traffic light (at
Changebridge Rd). Go through the light. Upon going through the light,
River Road becomes Horseneck Road. The address of the library is
90 Horseneck Road. It is on your left immediately after Montville
High School.
FROM
ROUTE 80 WESTBOUND: TAKE
EXIT 48- MONTVILLE/PINE BROOK. AT
EXIT, MAKE RIGHT onto HOOK MOUNTAIN ROAD. Continue
on Hook Mountain Road approximately 1.5 miles to a T in road. AT
the T, MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD. Continue
on Horseneck Road up hill approximately 1.2 miles, the LIBRARY is on your RIGHT.
FROM
ROUTE 287 NORTHBOUND:
Take
Route 287 North to Exit 45 (Wootton Street, Boonton). When you get
off the highway, stay on the exit ramp until you hit a stop sign.
This is Wootton Street. Go through the stop sign. You are now on
Park Ave. Park Ave ends almost immediately at another stop sign.
Make a right at the stop sign onto Vreeland Avenue. Vreeland Avenue
goes down a hill and then makes a sharp left hand turn. Shortly
after the left hand turn you see a "Entering Montville"
sign. Shortly after the "Entering Montville " sign Vreeland
Avenue ends. When Vreeland ends, make a right on River Road. After
going past a baseball field and Condurso's Garden Store on the left
side, there is a fork. Take a left at the fork thereby continuing
on River Road. River Road then hits a traffic light (at Changebridge
Rd). Go through the light. Upon going through the light, River Road
becomes Horseneck Road. The address of the library is 90 Horseneck
Road. It is on your left immediately after Montville High School.
FROM ROUTE
287 SOUTHBOUND: TAKE
EXIT 47- MONTVILLE/LINCOLN PARK. AT
EXIT, make RIGHT onto ROUTE 202 NORTH. Continue
on ROUTE 202 North approx. 1/2 mile to the SECOND TRAFFIC LIGHT. At
SECOND TRAFFIC LIGHT- MAKE RIGHT onto CHANGEBRIDGE ROAD (EXXON STATION on your
right). Continue on CHANGEBRIDGE
ROAD approx. 1.8 miles to FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT. AT
LIGHT- MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD, the LIBRARY is ahead on the LEFT.
FROM
ROUTE 202 NORTHBOUND: From
Boonton, go under ROUTE 287 overpass. At
SECOND TRAFFIC LIGHT- MAKE RIGHT onto CHANGEBRIDGE ROAD ( Exxon station on your
right). Continue on CHANGEBRIDGE
ROAD approx. 1.8 mi. to FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT. AT
LIGHT- MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD, the LIBRARY is ahead on the left.
FROM
202 SOUTHBOUND: From
Lincoln Park, go through Towaco. Pass
the RED BARN PLAZA AND QUICK CHEK. Go
under TRAIN TRESTLE TO TRAFFIC LIGHT. AT
LIGHT, MAKE LEFT onto CHANGEBRIDGE ROAD (EXXON STATION ON YOUR LEFT). Continue
on CHANGEBRIDGE ROAD approx. 1.8 miles to FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT. AT
LIGHT- MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD, the Library is ahead on the left.
FROM
ROUTE 46 EASTBOUND: EXIT
at HOOK MOUNTAIN ROAD (JUGHANDLE exit after Traffic Light & Wendy's
Restaurant). Continue
on Hook Mountain Road approx. 1.7 miles to T in road. At
the T, MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD. Continue
on Horseneck Road up hill approx. 1.2 miles, the LIBRARY is on your Right.
FROM
ROUTE 46 WESTBOUND: EXIT
at HOOK MOUNTAIN ROAD (Wendy's Restaurant on Left). Continue on Hook Mountain
Road approx. 1.7 miles to T in road. At
the T, MAKE LEFT onto HORSENECK ROAD. Continue
on Horseneck Road up hill approx. 1.2 miles, LIBRARY is on your RIGHT.
FROM
ROUTE 3: Take Route 3 West until it
ends and becomes Route 46 West. Take Route 46 West ( stay in right or center
lane) to the intersections of Routes 23, 80, and 46. Take ROUTE 80 WEST
for two exits. Take EXIT 48 (MONTVILLE/PINE BROOK). At the end of the ramp, make
a RIGHT onto HOOK MOUNTAIN ROAD. Follow until it ends, make a LEFT onto
Horseneck Road which immediately goes uphill. The library is 1.2 miles on the
RIGHT.
FROM
THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY:
TAKE EXIT 145 ONTO ROUTE 280 WEST. Stay on
ROUTE 280 WEST. Take EXIT 1 (ROUTE 46-PARSIPPANY). Make a RIGHT at the end of
the ramp which is NEW ROAD. Stay on NEW ROAD until it ends (immediately after
ROUTE46 traffic light). Make a RIGHT ON OLD BLOOMFIELD AVENUE. Follow this road
to the first traffic light. Make a LEFT onto CHANGEBRIDGE ROAD. Stay on this
road to the 4th traffic light (two banks on corner) and make a RIGHT
which is HORSENECK ROAD. Go past the High School and the LIBRARY is on the left.
FROM
THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE (from North & Central New Jersey): When
the Turnpike divides into the Eastern and Western spurs, TAKE the WESTERN spur
to any of the following: a.
EXIT 16W (ROUTE 3) to ROUTE 3 WEST. Follow directions above from ROUTE
3. b. Exit 15W (ROUTE 280) to 280 WEST. Take
EXIT 1 (ROUTE 46-PARSIPPANY) AND follow directions from "GARDEN
STATE PARKWAY" c. Take
Turnpike northbound to where it intersects with ROUTE 80. Take 80 WEST and
follow directions above from 80 West.
FROM
SOUTH JERSEY: Take the NEW JERSEY
TURNPIKE NORTH to EXIT 11 (GARDEN STATE
PARKWAY) then take the Garden State Parkway North to EXIT 145. At this point, follow "GARDEN STATE PARKWAY
" DIRECTIONS to the LIBRARY.
